Corrected rainfall totals for Palau. Tropical Storm Bauloi (26W) continues to move west into the Philippine Sea and strengthen, away from Palau and Yap, and is currently located near 9.7N 132.6E. Much of the convection is focused to the west and southwest of the circulation center, but locally heavy showers will remain a concern for Palau over the next few days, as a moist, convergent monsoon pattern sets up behind TS Bauloi. Palau has received roughly 3.0 to 3.5 inches of rainfall so far, and another 1 to 2 inches are possible over the next several days. Landslide potential is diminishing but the possibility remains, especially where soils have become saturated
