HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE…A portion of northwest Kansas, including the following county, Cheyenne. * WHEN…Until 300 AM CDT. * IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 1119 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. – Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. – Some locations that will experience flooding include… St. Francis, Bird City and Wheeler.
