Between 1 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 4 to 6 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. At 911 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 3 and 4 inches of rain have fallen over the past three hours. Heavy rainfall has moved out of the area. Flooding impacts will continue due to runoff from the excessive rainfall, however no additional rainfall is expected. HAZARD…Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE…Radar. IMPACT…Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
