At 330 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near South Hutchinson, moving southeast at 35 mph. THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR HUTCHINSON, INMAN, AND BURRTON. HAZARD…80 mph wind gusts. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles. Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely. Locations impacted include… Hutchinson, Mcpherson, Hesston, South Hutchinson, Halstead, Moundridge, Inman, Buhler, Haven, Nickerson, Burrton, Pretty Prairie, Partridge, Windom, Yoder, Willowbrook, Mcpherson Airport, Hutchinson Airport, and Cheney Lake. This includes Interstate 135 between Mile Markers 38 and 57.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of north central Barber, southeastern Stafford and Pratt Counties.
