The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the University of Iowa invites applications and nominations for an instructional track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Instruction (https://opsmanual.uiowa.edu/human-resources/faculty/instructional-faculty-policy) in the general area of computer engineering, computer science and/or electrical engineering to begin in the fall semester of 2025. This position is a full-time academic year appointment and includes an initial three-year contract with the possibility of renewal. Instructional Track Faculty play an important role in advancing the teaching excellence of the College of Engineering. Promotion and advancement opportunities are available for instructional track faculty positions.

Candidates must be committed to excellence in teaching at every level in the ECE curriculum and able to teach software and hardware-related courses. Essential qualifications include evidence of a strong ability to integrate impactful teaching methodologies, a passion for mentoring students in the general areas
