The Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering (CEE) at Batten College of Engineering & Technology (BCET) at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA, is inviting applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor position in Coastal Engineering starting in Fall 2025. This is a 10-month annual appointment.

Hampton Roads experiences one of the highest rates of sea level rise on the East Coast, making it a prime research area to study the effects of rising waters on coastal infrastructures and resilience. The region houses critical infrastructure including military bases and major ports.
