The School of Architecture in the University of Kentucky College of Design seeks applicants for Assistant Professor in the Regular Title Series. The successful candidate will teach at the undergraduate and/or graduate level a writing-intensive history and theory lecture course in Modern and Contemporary Architecture, as well as seminars and design studios. The appointment comes with start-up support to launch a research program that produces scholarly or creative output of national and international standing, as well as an expectation of service to the school, college, university, profession, and community. This position provides the opportunity to teach motivated students in a program committed to the history and theory of architecture, design innovation and experimentation, and building technology and fabrication. Teaching experience in modern and contemporary architecture history and theory is required. Experience with teaching writing is recommended as is experience with teaching design studio. Applicants
