Open Rank/Tenure Track Faculty in Mechanical Engineering 2027-2028

The Engineering Department at Drury University is searching for adventurous spirits to join a small team building new mechanical and electrical engineering programs.  Drury University is a small undergraduate-focused liberal arts school in Springfield, Missouri that welcomed its first engineering students in Fall 2024.

We are seeking faculty with a passion for teaching undergraduates and a willingness to teach a variety of undergraduate mechanical engineering topics.  While candidates from any mechanical engineering discipline are welcome to apply, preference will be given to those who have a background in and enthusiasm for teaching dynamics, measurements, and/or materials.  Preference will also be given to candidates whose interest areas complement existing faculty strengths in additive manufacturing, fluids, numerical methods, controls, and statics/mechanics of materials.

Requirements include doctorate and baccalaureate degrees in mechanical engineering or a closely related field. (Doctorate

FACULTY POSITION IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

Position Description:

The Department of Mechanical Engineering at McGill University invites applications for one tenure-track position in Mechanical Engineering, preferably at the Assistant Professor level.

The Department seeks candidates whose research advances the dynamics, control, and autonomy of aerospace systems, with particular interest in unmanned/autonomous aerial vehicles or space systems engineering.

We are particularly interested in candidates working in areas including, but are not limited to, guidance, navigation, and control (GNC), autonomous systems, flight dynamics, and spacecraft dynamics. Examples may include autonomous navigation, multi-agent or cooperative systems, intelligent and resilient autonomy, launch vehicle dynamics and control, proximity operations and on-orbit servicing, and experimental or hardware-in-the-loop validation.

Candidates whose work bridges these areas or integrates emerging approaches such as machine learning, artificial intelligence, perception, or data-driven methods within aerospace systems are also encouraged to apply.

The Department is committed to
