Sakurajima (Kyushu, Japan): An eruption was reported at Sakurajima at 09:08 UTC on 7 October 2026, but volcanic ash was not identifiable in satellite data as of 09:10 UTC. No ash height was observed, and no further advisories are planned unless ash is detected.

Mayon (Luzon Island, Philippines): An eruption was reported at Mayon at 14:18 UTC on 7 October 2026, with ash to flight level 100 extending west-southwest. No volcanic ash cloud was identifiable from satellite data at 14:20 UTC.

Manam (Papua New Guinea): Explosive activity continues. The Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Darwin warned of a volcanic ash plume rising to an estimated 7000 ft (2100 m), or flight level 070.
