At 1255 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Corinth to near Iuka to near Belmont. Movement was east at 50 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include… Malone, Posey Loop, Northwest Alabama Regional Airport, Littleville, La Grange, Florence, Allsboro, Riverton, Wright, and Tharptown.

This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. – Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area.
