Rip currents can pull swimmers and surfers out to sea. Large breaking waves can cause injury, wash people off beaches and rocks, and capsize small boats near shore. Minor beach erosion and minor flooding of usually dry areas may occur. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Minor tidal overflows are possible during the highest high tides of the calendar day.
