Water over roadways. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 1022 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Up to 1.5 inches of rain has fallen. – Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. At 1019 PM AST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Ponce, moving northwest at 20 to 25 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and funnel clouds possible. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
