The primary swell direction of the short period swell will be northeasterly (030-050 degrees). * WHAT…Large breaking waves of 8 to 12 feet, subsiding to 7 to 10 ft tomorrow. * WHERE…East facing shores of Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, Maui and Big Island. * WHEN…Until 6 AM HST Saturday. * IMPACTS…Moderate. Strong breaking waves and strong currents will make swimming dangerous.
