Strong winds are currently affecting the Highway 2 corridor from East Glacier Park to Cut Bank, on Highway 89 around Browning and the Interstate 15 corridor from Valier to Sweet Grass. Wind gusts of 86 mph have been reported in Browning and near 60 mph on Interstate 15. Those traveling on Highway 2, Highway 89 or Interstate 15 in the Shelby, Sweet Grass, Cut Bank, Browning, or East Glacier Park area should be alert for very strong winds. If possible delay travel for the next few hours in this area, until the winds decrease.
