At 824 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 8 miles south of Clarksville to 8 miles west of Norlina to near Warrenton. Movement was north at 25 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and frequent lightning. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down small trees and blow around unsecured objects. Wind impacting handling of high profile vehicles. Frequent cloud to ground lightning strikes. Strong thunderstorms will be near… Clarksville around 840 PM EDT. Boydton around 845 PM EDT. Other locations impacted by these storms include Spanish Grove, Beechwood, Bowens Corner, John H Kerr Dam, North View, Finchley, White Plains, Skipwith, Forksville, and Fairview.
