Livestock should be moved to higher ground. Old Ferry Road near the river begins to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 8:30 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 30.3 feet. – Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 32.8 feet Friday morning. – Flood stage is 29.0 feet. – http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE…A portion of south central Virginia, including the following county, Charlotte. * WHEN…Until 1100 PM EDT. * IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 1013 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms near Charlotte Court House. Minor flooding is ongoing across parts of the county. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen near Charlotte Court House. – Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area.
