These sneaker waves can also move large objects such as logs, crushing anyone caught underneath.

At 1124 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 14 miles northeast of Agua Nueva, moving southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include… San Rafael Ranch Airport.
